Painting with Light!

I have been "painting" with light for a long time . . . . here is a light "painting" from many years ago.  It was made with a film camera so one would guess at an exposure and then wait for the film to be processed before getting results; that is pure magic (and patience)!!  No immediate results and adjustments as with a digital camera.

I call it "Madonna and Rabbit"

I was darn lucky yesterday to remember to pick these 3 ebony fruits of the nightshade family; the onslaught of rain and resulting puddles would create a mushy-mess!

Hmmmm, how do clouds, food and shadows connect?

Well, we photographers are constantly noticing LIGHT.  The word photography comes from the Greek roots "drawing with light".  What would we have with the absence of light?  You got it, darkness, no drawing, no image!

My very first post . . . .

Here we go . . . .  now it feels like fall!

Many years ago, my dad told me that his mother used to make jam from rose hips.
