I have been "painting" with light for a long time . . . . here is a light "painting" from many years ago. It was made with a film camera so one would guess at an exposure and then wait for the film to be processed before getting results; that is pure magic (and patience)!! No immediate results and adjustments as with a digital camera.
I call it "Madonna and Rabbit"
Wow, this is so lovely! A much more challenging and time consuming process than painting with an app...I spent hours of my childhood in a dark room with my dad as we developed both his and my photos, so I remember that "magic" of an image appearing in the red light (or after you're done and turned the light back on if it was color!)
ReplyDeleteThose days of "magic" in a darkroom are fewer and fewer.
ReplyDeleteI, too, spent hours in a makeshift darkroom with my dad. That "magic" has lived within me for all of these years . . . .
