Painting with Light!

I have been "painting" with light for a long time . . . . here is a light "painting" from many years ago.  It was made with a film camera so one would guess at an exposure and then wait for the film to be processed before getting results; that is pure magic (and patience)!!  No immediate results and adjustments as with a digital camera.

I call it "Madonna and Rabbit"

  1. Wow, this is so lovely! A much more challenging and time consuming process than painting with an app...I spent hours of my childhood in a dark room with my dad as we developed both his and my photos, so I remember that "magic" of an image appearing in the red light (or after you're done and turned the light back on if it was color!)

  2. Those days of "magic" in a darkroom are fewer and fewer.
I, too, spent hours in a makeshift darkroom with my dad. That "magic" has lived within me for all of these years . . . .
